Final Cut Store Champs

1W-4L-1D

Afternoon guys and thank you for taking the time to come to my article. This event we were at Final Cut TCG in Sacramento or Rancho Cordova, but a really really good shop friendly shop if you guys like magic and you know gunpla and all the other stuff this is a great store to stop by, but they’re throwing their store championships which top two gets invited to Orlando in Bandai card fest aka Nationals which I was not planning on going so me entering this tournament. I just wanted to vibe and have fun and write a little of cool article for you and how my matches went playing with Plutomon this BT26 format. I noticed this BT 26 format. Reminds me a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! where you sit there and you build a board and pass your opponent 6 to 7 memory and you say break my board and if you cant, it’ll control the whole field and then they OTK or you just get controlled until you lose some people would say they rather have OTK format, but in my opinion, I don’t mind you know the power shift going back to control because I feel like longer games are needed. You know it’s more fun but going into time is not most of my matches almost went into time so with further ado like I said if you’re still hear, thank you for reading and matches down below.

Rd 1 Jupiter 0-2 L

  • My round one matchup I played Jupiter never played full power Jupiter before until the storm championships and I can see why this deck is BDIF the fact that they are allowed to take from their own Security also known as taking a life and still climbing their line and then recovering for bringing them back to four after pulling four is honestly insane but no matter what I did you know once they go into Jupiter wraith it’s kind of downhill from there because he’s such a strong card 0-2 Ggs!

Rd 2 data squad 0-2 L

  • Second matchup, I played Dad squad Rose rave which I was gonna play but I decided not to because I didn’t wanna play the mirror match so I will Pluto because Ora farming lol but in this matchup honestly if they roll into their pieces and then you swing at Security and hit a tamer a Yoshino or a Keenan that just helps him so much because on the start of main tuck one draw, one gain one and they climb into their line and if they find everything they’ll rip out 3 to 4 in hand and then sit on a rave in Security and then if it spins back to them, they can go into Rose burst and essentially OTK and went from there!! Rough matchups for rd1 and 2

Rd 3 ceres bacchu 1-1-1 D

  • not really gonna go in depth with this matchup series bought you is honestly one of the most frustrating decks to play against cause if they turn on siren they just will drop a series and just go from there. It’s honestly a frustrating matchup but Drew this round.

Rd 4 BYE

  • round four I received the buy so I get the Nguyen so that’ll allow me to really just breathe and relax and watch the matchups but like I said, it’s really like a Yu-Gi-Oh matchup nowadays

Rd 5 ceres bacchu 0-2 L

  • Once again last round, I’m thinking I’m gonna play another different deck, but I don’t wishing it was TS slop but once again ceres/bacchu painful matchup. I lose 0-2 almost going into time, but in all honesty I just didn’t care anymore because of the deck I was playing lol but yeah GGs store championship was fun shout out to Coleman for running a smooth tournament and it was fun seeing the Bay Area boys, and the Fresno boys once again and if you guys were still here through this article, thank you so much for reading. I really do appreciate it.
