Half Case Tournament at Health Points TCG - 02/07/2026

Good morning,

I’m writing this article on the Half Case Tournament which was hosted by Health Points TCG located in Fresno CA. If you guys get the chance and play other Bandai games including OP, UA, Gundam, they all run them and the store owners and workers are all very nice. My team and I will definitely be coming back down. 

Well, back to the article. I ran Galaxy Toolbox with some spice of my own, but the tournament was 5 rounds and I ended on a 2W-3L! Overall, I played well. The last round bricked really hard, and I, honestly, needed that to maybe qualify for top cut. But the tie breakers were so close! Shoutout to Tyler, Rich, and Juan. My teammates. Big congrats on Tyler for taking second with Jesmon! He's the best Jesmon player. But yeah, match ups are down below. If you have any questions, let me know. I’d be happy to answer them also. Round:1 Machinedramon 1-2 

I played Tyler round 1. I always seem to play Tyler. But on the machine rematch from Sparks, he took this one 1-2. G1 mugen check 2 with trash 2 Dec is crazy his blimpmon tech is actually busted! G2 galaxy fix galaxy things went up and my line got deck his tamer we go from there. G3 went to time, but he pulled through close games.  Always fun with my brother. Good luck at Bandai card fest next weekend in Las Vegas.

Round:2 TS Olympus 0-2 

I’ve never played this deck, so game knowledge wasn’t there. G1 bricked up and he went into Jupiter turn 2. I kinda go next. G2, he abused homeros with Bt10 and locks me out. I basically don’t even play the game anymore.  My deck revolves around when digivolving.

Rd:3 Ts Slop 2-0 

Time to claw back,but hexe G1 to slow him down, because a lot of time, the stranger deck relies on tamers. And they have so many, so it was smooth sailing. But that deck has so much A. It’s honestly ridiculous. G2 ruin mode is just too good. Most TS digimon are 5K or less so that blanket hurt,

Round:4 Virus imperial 2-1 

Another GFG member and a dope guy! G1 was back and fourth, but the virus did virus things. G2 hexe controlled until he had zero and P gallant to rush for game. G3 (big shoutout to Tyler for telling me to tech in Offensive plug in), I tuck under Diana swing 1 check. Go into ruin mode for 5 and 5K blankets. Diana lets me Unsuspend 1 digimon, so I unsuspend ruin mode. Ruin mode swings last check, end of attack on del recov 1 and blanket 10K! Virus needs bodies on board to climb and that left him at zero with a gallant x on board. X2 GGs lets claw out way back there.

Rd:5 Aegis/sea decode 0-2 

This was my match for top cut and I sadly bricked out. Like, I don’t even wanna get into it. I couldn’t find any of my 4s to get the ball rolling and it’s hard when you can’t even play the game with Aegis.

I had a lot of fun at this tournament! Health points in Fresno is for sure the comeback. If you guys get the chance to make your way down here, they’re honestly good people.
