Top cut  UC szn 2 


So how would I start? This? This event was arguably the most unprepared I’ve been in a long time not only have I been working 12 hr shifts but not even getting testing in from locals so I’ll be quite frank the bt25 meta was just a pass for me so I was still new to most things in that set but we still top 32 the ultimate cup in in pod C ranking 26th out of 64 in that pod!!! Match up’s down below if you like to read!!! The deck I decide to pilot this tournament was UG imperial not only is it in a sense an anti meta deck!! It’s a DNA deck I have a special love for DNA deck haha but yes!! Enjoy the article I know that it’s short, but this tournament known as the ultimate cup doesn’t go more than about five rounds because of the new pot system and I hope to catch you guys at Sparks!!

 



RD 1 ping pong Omni 0-2 

  • This rd1 match up wasn’t too bad but overall both games was just brick back to back. G1 couldn’t find dragon or fighter mode. G2 he just ping ponged his way up his line and just controlled the whole way it was kind of rough but we can still come back starting off X1 does hurt though 


Rd2 vulcanus

  • So going into this match up with working so much I did not even have time to go to a bt25 release so my knowledge on Vulcanus was man long story short I got rolled 0-2 because I didn’t know I can’t strip links and that Vulcanus can also otk and I learned that the hard way!! Cool guy, great games 


Rd:3 Omni 

  • this 3rd round the Omni player was basically playing the same deck as round 1 but I essentially won this match!!! G1 fighter mode slowing him down and him not being able to find his pieces to climb hurts a lot!!! The deck high rolls so much you either have the pieces or you keep searching until it’s too late!! G2 he bricks yet again and scoop sucks when I play ppl in pst because we got up so early for this event it started at 7am on discord LULW


Rd:4 no show 

  • rd4 no show so ez 2-0 win 


Rd 5 end of the tournament 

  • 1 declared undefeated and the tournament event is over
